Fresh Chicken and Goose Eggs from Pasture Raised Birds
Our eggs are available from our farm house during the winter months, and from the farm stand in our barn during the non-freezing months of the year. We offer both chicken and goose eggs, depending on the time of year. We now sell our eggs through Massachusetts Local Food. With on-line ordering it's a wonderful way to purchase local products.
Chicken Eggs

At this time we have a steady supply of free range eggs. Our mixed flock of Rhode Island Red, Golden Buff and White Rocks hens are allowed to roam our barnyard and are fed certified organic grain.  To purchase eggs contact us. During the winter months eggs are available from our house, or the cooler on the front step on a self serve basis. We are happy to set up a regular egg order for you, just let us know when and how many you would like.

These active birds lay the brown eggs that are so traditional in New England. When the pastures are greener the birds will move out to the field where they will have access to fresh grass and insects along with fresh water and certified organic grain. They have a movable hen house where they spend the night safe from predators, and lay their eggs during the days.

We have made a firm commitment to organic feeds as that is the only way to insure avoiding the addition of GMO corn or soybeans in the feed. For more information on the problems associated with GMO crops, see GENETIC ENGINEERING: THE HAZARDS, EVEDIC ENGINEERING: THE SOLUTIONS  by John Fagan Ph.D., Professor of Molecular Biology at the Maharishi University of Management located in Iowa. Organic grain may seem expensive at an average cost of $2.62 per dozen produced, but by using these grains you can be assured of eating safe, nutritious eggs from our birds.
Goose Eggs

Our Chinese Geese lay eggs from the late-winter through the late spring at which time we offer them for sale. Our geese are raised under the free range system and even were very helpful in weeding our chemical free strawberry field in the summer of 2008. Goose eggs are rich in flavor and make wonderful cakes and baked goods. Because they are a seasonal item, please contact us directly for pricing and availability.
